Emotions . . .

Emotions are the way we feel. How we express these emotions is what we talked about with Kaden and Will. I thought this was the perfect start to our week of learning "All About Me". (Plus the fact that I haven't picked up the pictures for their books yet ;-). )

We made clown faces that the boys got to pick out what emotion they wanted to portray.

Kaden chose angry.

Will chose happy.

We played a fun game that their Uncle Paul and Aunt Cristi got them for Christmas.

You pick a card from each pile. A movement, an object and a place on your body. (This game could even be homeade - my brain was going with ways I could make up this game for further learning opportunities).

Kaden is part of the YMCA Homeschool PE and they had a bowling party today.

Today went much smoother. Thank you God for the gift of days like these to make up for all those hard days!
