My Simple Woman's Daybook 4/20/2009

Outside my window...Looks like it's going to warm up, definately by the end of the week we'll have some 80's!

I am thinking...I wonder what the Doctor will say today.

I am thankful for...my husband who stayed with me and doted on me all weekend.

From our lesson plans...finish our spider unit and start another bug unit

From the kitchen...
Monday - lasagne, homeade crescent rolls, salad
Tuesday - brocoli chicken rice casserole, sauteed veggies
Wednesday - turkey bacon pizza, salad
Thursday - leftovers
Friday - venison fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad
Saturday - eat out
Sunday - hamburgers

I am wearing...velour pants set - my favorite lounge clothes.

I am creating...scrapbook layouts, painting a bookshelf, and making a hallway art display.

I am going...maybe nowhere if I'm contagious. Guess what? I love staying home!

I am reading... Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, Raising Boys

I am hoping, praying and believing...Proverbs 20:16b Things work out when you trust in God

I am hearing...boys are sitting on my lap and being chattery. Yes, I'm talented. I can hold two boys and type at the same time.

Around the house...Baking gingerbread muffins, grinding and cooking up a big batch of venison, making a big batch of hummus, and lots more I'm sure!

Join us every monday here.

Erin~ I had no idea what was going on with you until I read the post on manymeadows. I am praying for you. I pray His presence and peace cradle you today.

I like this daybook thing...I may have to start doing it as well. I always want to live simply. Got to keep that in check sometimes.
