Games
We have incorporated games into our daily schedule because they can be great learning tools, and well, we just love games!
Some of our favorites are:
Operation (we don't play with the cards and money - just the tweezers and bones)
Chutes and Ladders
Candyland
Hi Ho Cheerio
Leap Frog Go Fish (pictured) (these came with great card holders that we use for our card games)
Our favorite card games:
Go Fish
War
Slap Jack
My boys have learned and reinforced their knowledge of colors, counting, letter sounds, number recognition, and lots more while spending great quality time with Mommy.
You don't have to break the bank collecting games either. We've picked ours up at garage sales, consignment sales, after-Thanksgiving-day sales, and best of all asked for them as gifts from grandparents and friends instead of toys for birthdays.
I encourage you to start your collection and get to playing. It's really fun when you can get Dad in the floor and make a family game night!

We love games! We play UNO, Monopoly Jr, Go Fish, Candy Land, and MANY others.
Oh man we love games! Uno and Phase 10 are big here. As well as life, monopoly, pictionary, I could go on and on. We also like to play spades, us big people, it makes for lots of fun competition!
Well we have found a new game that not only is fun but educational. It's called Cashflow and has been quite interesting in helping our boys to know the difference between assets and liabilities. Bought any Doodads lately? Dirk
