My Simple Woman's Daybook 3/30/2009

Outside my window...Going to warm up to 70 today, but I think the wind will make it not as fun. :-(

I am thinking... Giving myself lots of grace right now. As long as my house is not germy and there's food for my family that's doing good for me.

I am thankful for...That I learned to say no to things. I did it again this week, and it makes me happy that I have more time to be home.

From our lesson plans...bugs - starting an Eric Carle unit (trying to anyway, note the grace thing above). Hopefully finding a caterpillar to watch it turn.

From the kitchen...

Monday - shepherd's pie, salad
Tuesday - chicken, green bean, potato crockpot dish
Wednesday - turkey bacon and avocado pizza, salad
Thursday - spinach lasagne, steamed broccoli
Friday - nachos supreme, salad
Saturday - breakfast food
Sunday - leftovers

I am wearing...black pants, white tank, turquoise hoody

I am creating...scrapbook layouts - got 1 1/2 done yesterday (been too anxious to get them in the book to take pics for the blog, oh well)

I am going...

Monday - nowhere (thanks to saying no!)
Tuesday - PE, gym
Wednesday - playdate with friends
Thursday - PE, gym
Friday - having friends over
Saturday - church
Sunday - life group

I am reading... Supernatural Childbirth, Shiloh (to the boys), browsing through a stack of home building books

I am hoping (believing and claiming!)...Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2 Cor. 10:5

I am hearing...Not much. Boys are coloring quietly

Around the house...Working in flower beds and garden, washing outside of house and windows (hopefully). Making a big pot of tomato soup for lunches. Organizing maternity clothes and baby stuff that people have already been giving me.

Picture thought I am sharing... These pics are from a March 2008. Oh, how big they are getting!
