Bag Activities

A couple of years ago I had the chance to participate in a preschool activity bag swap. Each mom was assigned an activity to put together from a book (I think it was from 102 I Can Do It Myself Activities). We had groups of 20, so each mom made 20 bags of the same activity and at the swap we received 20 different bag activities.

They are so nice to have on hand for those days when I don't have something planned or we just need a little activity to do to fill some time. My boys enjoy going and picking a bag for what they want to do.

Some examples are stringing beads on pipe cleaner.

A trinket matching game.

A color matching game with cards and paper clips.

There's lots of ABC learning games as well. These are great to have in the car, and really any activity would work if you put all the items ahead of time in a bag.

That was a great idea...and I'm glad you all did it. Brings back memories of things I had you kids do. :)
