My Simple Woman's Daybook 3/16/2009

Outside my window...foggy. It's gonna be a great warm day and week!

I am thinking... I'm glad to have a little change in our schedule this week. I like routine, but I get bored with it too.

I am thankful for...living so close to my parents and being able to hang out with them whenever.

From our lesson plans...Making homeade soap for our personal hygeine study, sewing our gardening tool belts.

From the kitchen...

Monday - venison barbecue in the crockpot, salad

Tuesday - crispy ranch chicken, sauteed zucchini

Wednesday - chicken alfredo pizza, salad

Thursday - hamburgers, oven fries

Friday - turkey ham and veggie calzones

Saturday - chicken quesadillas

Sunday - leftovers

I am wearing...lounge pants, peace rocks T-shirt

I am creating...scrapbook layouts - got 1 done last week

I am going...

Monday - gym, Ali's for lunch

Tuesday - nowhere

Wednesday - gym, take meal to family w/ new baby

Thursday - nowhere

Friday - nowhere

Saturday - church

Sunday - Abbi's shower, life group

I am reading... Increase Your Financial IQ, Say to this Mountain (by Bodie Thoene - highly recommend this author for historical fiction)

I am hoping...to feel great this week and get a lot done

I am hearing...Will playing with a little skateboard

Around the house...mending Jon's pants, making muffins and homeade cinnamon rolls, working in flower beds and garden.

One of my favorite things today...the thought of warm weather - I'm going to sunbathe this week!

A Picture of last week... Our little Will seems to be getting so big. He started playing soccer this weekend and wouldn't take that jersey off for 3 days (well once to shower). He was cracking all of us up by showing us his "cocker cocks" (soccer socks) and his "things" (shin guards). He's really into ketchup as you can see here. Our funny guy!
